3.5"This was my first tie to Keeler and I thought they were very nice and helpful. I felt that the service of my car went very well. I also had the inside detailed. I was a little disappointed. When I got into the car, my rear view mirror had spots all over from the spray they used on my dashboard. So I had to clean that off before I left. I also have an arm rest with the sliding cover. It had come off, so I left it in the car, thinking they would reassemble it. But, that didn't happen. I didn't ask them to do it initially,mehich I should have done. I figure if they saw the lid sitting on top of the arm rest, they would have put it back together. Other than that, I had a good experience and will return to Keeler( if the dealership that is supposed to open in Vermont is still not open....cannot wait for it to be open, though!)." 3.0"I brought my MINI in for service. As part of that service, my windshield wipers were to be replaced and I was advised that my tire pressure was adjusted. This was a Thursday. That weekend, I had to drive several hours in the rain, and I could barely see out of the windshield due to streaking if the front windshield wipers. Additionally, the tire pressure light came on. I never had this issue before the "adjustment" during my last visit. As a result, I had to rush up to Keeler after work the following week to have these issues corrected." This will cause the tire pressure to change, causing the low tire light to be illuminated. With regards to the wipers, they needed to be replaced again and this was done in the drive thru. 1.0"Car taken in on time..since we didn"t know the nature of problem I was told someone would come out and talk to me before starting repair. Felt I needed to hang around to be available for this conversation. After 2 !/2 hours asked someone in showroom if they could check the status. He came back and said car was all done and Raffe would be coming out to talk to me....Raffe was NOT the original service person I had talked to. I then waited another 45 minutes only to have my original service person come in to talk..When I acted surprised and a little angry he said with enormous attitude, Can"t we have this conversation in my office!..There we proceeded and I explained my confusion and position. He said the reason no one came to talk to me was because the repair was under warranty so there was no need.!!!!!..... that was Not my understanding...as far as one hand not knowing what the other was doing...he could not ubderstand who gave the showroom person that info...Raffe should never have been part of anything. I drive 2 hours to get to Keeler, waited in the waiting area for over 3 hours and drive 2 hours home. 2.5"Since my 2006 Minni has come off of warranty, I have yet to bring my Mini into Keeler's to be serviced without spending a minimum of $500.00. And this visit was no different, although there was no apparent problem when I brought the vehicle in for an oil change and a NYS inspection. The car has only 60,480 miles on it, but yes Keeler did managed have to replace a wheel bearing in the car , in order to pass the NYS inspection. Since 2009, we have spent at least $3000.00 dollars in fluid flushes, tires, oil changes and such. Amazing. My 2003 Pontiac Vibe has barely cost me $3000.00 in 9 years that I have owned it. Sad really because I do love the Mini Cooper, but unfortunately I will never be able to own another one or this one much longer because of the expense of maintenance." 1.0"My appointment was for an oil change, and I had been told it would take about an hour. After approximately one hour, a service person came by and told me that my front tires needed replacing, and wanted to be sure it was OK to put on new tires. I agreed and then waited another 90 minutes. Finally I went looking for a service representative and was told that the tires were not in stock and wouldn't be in until mid January. This long wait for tires with no action is the 1st reason that I am displeased. The 2nd reason is that I was never told to have the tires rotated every 6,000 miles (or so) to avoid tires wearing out so quickly. The MINI manual states that the service department will let the customer know such things. If I had known that the drive flat tires on an S model needed to be rotated, I would have taken care of this. I feel I am a responsible car owner if I know the facts." 4.0"Services were prompt and thorough. I was disappointed that I needed to call to understand that I had a "low mileage" oil change which will require me to return for more service in 4000 miles. This was not told to me prior to the service, during the service, or after the service. I called when I noticed that my service mileage was unchanged, after I left the facility. Only then was I informed of the need to return. I live over 100 miles from the service center so it is not a convenient trip for me. Knowing this upfront may have helped me make a more informed, and likely different, decision about being ahead of things service-wise. So much for trying to get things done before they're due!" It was pretty easy but it took the better part of 2 hours. I know I wasn't first in line that morning so I chalk the time up to there being a few ahead of me but still, two hours for an oil change is enough to keep this visit from being a "truly exceptional" one." 2.0"This was the worst service expierence i ever had - normally not the case. It was as if I've never been thre before. Coudl nto get a loaner car, in fact te rep told me i never did before and just kept assuming and overriding what i told him has occrred in the past. So, i deceided not to get car fully detailed, or fix rear hatch and jus t get basic service and barkes change so i could quickly return back home."
